MnMStudios' recent videos

I developed an interest in photography when my great Aunt gave me a Minolta X-700 film camera. Soon after I began shooting My Wife's musical theater shows. Low light, quickly changing lighting and fast action created a steep learning curve. After two years I jumped to digital with a Sony DSC- F717 5 megapixel camera. At the time it had the fastest, or least, shutter lag for an entry level camera just short of an SLR. The 717 has a magnificient carl zeiss lens to it's credit. Most of my gallery, at the time of this writing, has been captured with the Sony. But, even more than dog years, camera years are about 30:1. So at 60 years My needs had outgrown the Sony. I eBay-ed my kit and moved up to the setup shown below. The Canon Rebel XT has some extremely usable high ISO and almost instant shutter. At only about 4 times the cost of my previous setup. Any gallery or shots after February '06 are taken with the Canon Rebel XT.
